Abstract
This work includes (i) the translation of the Plato's Gorgias dialogue into Portuguese from the John Burnet's edition of the Greek text (Oxford Classical Texts); (ii) an introductory essay, in which I analyze the interface between dialogue and comedy and tragedy in the point of view of the characters' construction, since Plato refers to Epicarmus and Euripides in the philosophical drama; and (iii) notes and commentaries (philosophical, historical, linguistic and/or literary ones) that follow step by step the dialogue's argumentation.
