Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the resistance of dentin bond 60 3rd molars subjected to erosion by Sprite Zero (pH 2.6, 30 ml / sample, 25 ° C, Coca-Cola, Brazil) and treated with two different sources fluoride. We will also assess adherence performed with and without irradiation by Nd: YAG laser (Pulse Master 600 IQ - American Dental Technologies). We will use only the coronal portion of teeth, to be conducting such cuts in the transverse sectioning the root with a carborundum disk, and then in the mesio-distal crown, separating the buccal and lingual surface, crafting 120 specimens. All samples will be subjected to the erosive cycling by immersion in acid solution four times daily for 2 minutes for 5 days. Then it will be randomly divided into 3 groups: G1 - control, G2 - 1.23% NaF and G3 - 5% NaF. Bonding procedures will be done with the self etching adhesive Clearfil Sebond (Kuraray Medical Inc, Tokyo, Japan) and each group will be divided into two subgroups: SG1-Led and SG2 - Nd: YAG laser. All specimens will be restored with resin Z350 XT and submitted to cycling thermomechanical machine ER 37000 (training staff, technical equipment and scientific Ltda. São Paulo - SP, Brazil) with load of 50N and variation temperatures between 5 º C (± 2 ), 37 ° (± 2) and 55 º C (± 2), totaling 240.000 mechanical cycles and 10.000 thermal cycles. The bond will be tested by microtensile testing machine EMIC DL-200MF (Pinhais - PR, Brazil). The work will be submitted to the Ethics in Local Search, School of Dentistry of São José dos Campos - UNESP. The results will be statistically analyzed by ANOVA and Tukey test. (AU)
