Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate and compare the healing process after surgical treatment of chemically induced lesion in the lateral edge of tongue of hamster performed with scalpel and harmonic scalpel. Twenty four hamsters of both sexes will be used and evaluate at 7, 14, 21 and 28 of postoperative days by clinical, histological and histomorphometric analysis of the skeletal muscle fibers. (AU)
