Abstract

The Unifesp network has more than 6,000 workstations, 186 network servers, 600 network devices and 14 Wide Area Networks interconnecting the university campus in São Paulo (Vila Clementino and Santo Amaro), Santos, Diadema, Guarulhos, São José dos Campos, Embu das Artes, Osasco and the University Hospital. The objectives of this project are to reduce the risk of failures in the core and distribution network devices and expand the wireless network at Unifesp. (AU)
