Abstract

According to information provided by FAPESP, Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste has BRL 23,762.52 originating from a project under development at the Unit in 2020 and 2021, financed by FAPESP, to be used in the Technical Reserve modality "Part of the Institutional Technical Reserve for Connectivity to Rednesp".Due to the need for ongoing projects, recently approved projects and available resources, the Internal Technical Committee (CTI) defined as a priority the acquisition of computer equipment, such as data radios, optical cables, transceivers, etc., with a view to the connection/expansion of data transfer between the buildings of the Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste complex and experimental data collection points, to complement the existing infrastructure. The connection/expansion will allow greater availability for researchers, technicians, scholarship holders and interns who use the equipment and computers in the buildings and support rooms, allowing quick access to the Internet. It will also enable the connection of data collection points (electronic scales, troughs, mobile devices, etc.) in the field directly to Embrapa's server network. The resource utilization plan was approved at an Ordinary Meeting held on 11/24/2021 by the Internal Technical Committee (CTI) of Embrapa Pecuária Sudeste. (AU)
