Abstract
This project goal is the consolidation of one research line that the Group of Quantum Materials has developed since was created in 2009. It is proposed to purchase equipment for growing materials, a set of books that describe ternary phase diagrams and some material to maintain the regularity of a laboratory activity. The search for materials that present a good thermal efficiency has intensified in recent years. However, this has been a challenge since the parameters that determine the efficiency of all thermoelectric materials, the electrical and thermal conductivities and thermoelectric potential, are interdependent, making it extremely difficult to optimize efficiency. In this project, we propose a study of new thermoelectric materials, as well as its characterization and evaluation of the characteristics and properties. (AU)
