Influence of thermal-mechanical aging on resin materials physical properties

Abstract

Resin materials when presented in the oral environment have reduced their mechanical properties and probably in vivo durability. To evaluate these properties, the use of in vitro mechanical tests are conducted in order to approximate the experimental conditions to clinical reality. Thus, the aim of this project is to evaluate the unified resin materials after different thermomechanical aging, namely: 1) Different cementation systems (adhesive / resin cements) in the cementation of posts through chemical-mechanical preparation of roots with different irrigation systems, evaluating nanoinfiltração, bond strength for push-out and analysis by confocal microscopy, 2) different restorative systems (adhesive / resin) through the production of class I cavity preparation by comparing the influence of acid etching of the cavosuperficial angle by nanoinfiltração and bond strength through microtensile test and 3) Different cementation systems (adhesive / cement / flowable) in the cementation of veneers evaluating the stability of color, nanoinfiltração and degree of conversion. Subsequently, the results will be tabulated and analyzed statistically. (AU)
