Abstract

We plan to study two important classes of colloids: thermosensitive colloids (poly-N-isopropylacrylamide) and naturally occutring colloids (natural rubber latex). The aim is to characterize theirphysico-chemical properties, and to establish a relatiònship between these properties and their stability and film-forming behavior. In the case of natural rubber latex, we will focus our attention on the biodiversity and heterogeneity that exist between different clones of the same species. (AU)
