Abstract

The proposed visit of Dr. W. R. Heyer is planned for a one-month long stay in the State of São Paulo to study the issues stated below and collaborate with Dr. H. Zaher and his students on related topics. During this visit, morphological data will be taken on frogs of the Leptodactylus latrans species group. For this, the visiting professor will study materials housed at the Museu de Zoologia of the Universidade de São Paulo (MZUSP). The final goal of the project is to collaborate with Dr. H. Zaher to identify problematic Leptodacylus specimens collected with FAPESP support. (AU)
