Abstract

This request is intended to cover travel and maintenance costs of Prof. Dr. Francisco Artés Calero, from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Spain, to the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of UNICAMP. During his stay will collaborate on research projects supported by FAPESP and other Agency of research funding and which are under development in the Institution. Also, he will participate in round tables aiming to discuss the topics of controlled atmosphere, modified atmosphere and other physical methods for conservation of fresh and minimally processed fruits and vegetables, which are of great importance for the Research Group in Harvest and Post-harvest Technology of Horticultural Products of the FEAGRI/UNICAMP. In addition, Dr. Artés will present a course of 10 hours with the theme of Engineering Systems and Process for Preservation of Fresh Horticultural Products. (AU)
