Abstract

In the purpose of FAPESP project 2007/08103-2 coordinated by Dr. José Luiz Stech were obtained important results and was necessary to make contact with international researchers to discuss in more detail those results. Then the Dr. Casamitjana Vila was contacted by Dr. Enner Alcântara to participate in the elaboration of the paper published in Remote Sensing of Environment (doi:10.1016/j.rse.2010.06.002). During the workshop 'physical processes in natural waters' conducted in Reykjavík in July 2010, Drs. Alcântara and Stech discussed with Dr. Casamitjana about a more effective collaboration in our FAPESP project. In this meeting Dr. Casamitjana had demonstrated interesting in participate and share his knowledge in physical limnology. (AU)
