Abstract

The research proposal involves the use of methods of algebraic Quantum Field Theory and Local Quantum Physics in Constructive Quantum Field Theories and in the study of statistical properties if Dynamical Quantum Systems. Several related mathematical subjects also come into play, involving the study of non-commutative L^p spaces and the deformation theory of von Neumann algebras. (AU)
