Abstract

The primary objective of this research project is to investigate structural problems in the theory of group algebras and group graded PI-algebras. Our research will be focused on the following topics of current interest: the study of the possible connection between associative, Lie and Jordan structure of group algebras and group structure of their unit group; the growth of graded polynomial identities for PI-algebras graded by a finite group.
