Abstract

In this project we propose the investigation of vacuum solution extensions in general relativity. Deformations of spherical, cylindrical and axially symmetric solutions in the context of general relativity will be explored, aiming applications in brane world models and in the context of AdS/CFT correspondence. The new obtained solutions will be characterized by their perturbative, thermodynamical and semi-classical behavior. The development of relations between quantum and thermodynamical processes in models of interest will be conducted. Specific goals include the construction of new exact solutions describing compact objects with axial symmetric in models of interest; the analysis of the classical and semi-classical characteristics of these solutions; and the construction of models for holographic superconductors with the gauge-gravity correspondences.
