Abstract

Many researches have emphasized the clear association between the liberal model, effective from the President Collor era (1990-1992), and cultural policies. Others worked on the break with the previous intervention model until the possible contrasts between the policies of each of the governments that followed. However, this research will be working on a novel aspect, namely, from comparative studies on different media environments, such as Argentina, Brazil and México, will deepen the global nature of the crisis in audiovisual production from the three countries. In terms of time longitudinal analysis, it was tried to inquire, how, as from the 90' years, these countries have developed public policies for audiovisual, or how the interventionist policies became a political liberal ideais. The differential of this paper is precisely to endeavor to review the bibliography of the passage an intervention model, but now compared with the changes that occurred in two other countries: Argentina and México. In this work perspective, the study aims to show that protection against the global standardization of culture is closely linked to cultural cooperative policies. (AU)
