Abstract

During the visit there will be meetings between the doctorate students Taís Arriero Shinma e Aline Ribeiro Reis for the collaboration on the respective research projects of each one. A mini-course called "Advanced Modelling for Effective Management of Urban Water Systems " will be ministered, addressing various issues related to the modeling of water supply systems and drainage. Those lectures will address relevant topics of great interest for students, engineering and researchers of the field. It's also foreseen an interaction between the visitor and teachers, students and supervisors of the Postgraduate Program of Hydraulics and Sanitary Engineering of the School of Engineering of São Carlos (USP) to discuss future collaboration and exchange of experience. It's also planned a visit to the experimental circuit used for the research of hydraulic transient for the evaluation of future joint researches. There will be also meeting with students researching about water supply systems to exchange experience, discuss results and possible future work. (AU)
