Abstract

The main project objective is to improve technical infrastructure issues to consolidate the Federal, University of Sao Paulo as a ANSP and MetroSampa point-of-presence on Sao Paulo City's Vila Mariana area, and so to provide connectivity with higher quality aspects (bandwidth and availability ratio) than the private sector is capable of, for ANSP to FAP - Unifesp and others academic network participants located in the same area. To satisfy that objective it will be necessary improvements on university's data center power supplies, where the ANSP and MetroSampa backbone network equipment’s are installed. Two 60 KVA (quilovolt-ampere) uninterruptible power supply systems, also known as no-breaks, will be installed on parallel redundant scheme. Likewise, all the infrastructure needed to the right operation of these equipment’s will be installed too. It is also included in project the electric distribution between the no-breaks and the data center equipment. (AU)
