Abstract

The reform area that will be concluded with the technical reserve quota for institutional infrastructure research - year 2011, it will be of 470 m2 (which is currently occupied by research laboratories with clinical trials in development, but these are to be finalized, so that is the reason for not be able to immediately interrupt these studies to get start the reform, more 200 m2 of vacate area and with the immediate availability to start the reform. With the project conclusion, the expectation is the expansion of clinical trials number and the greater integration and the experiences exchange between principal investigators, executant researchers, and study coordinators. Thus, the first objective is being achieved, which is the centralization of the various units and research labs on the same floor, providing an optimized and adequate physical infrastructure to development of research activities as well as the best condition of management, the integration and, especially, the sharing of equipment used and the different researches interchange in Cardiopneumology area.
