Abstract

This project aims, in one hand, to consolidate the FAP-Unifesp Publishing House as a link between the multiple campi of Unifesp in terms of intellectual production. In the other hand, this project aims to improve infrastructure of the Foundation to give a belter support to activities related to teaching and research. Regarding the publishing house, this is a funding project for the following items: translation, originals' preparation, revision of proofs, technical revision, graphic and cover projects, production of books and printing, regarding the 27 books planned to be released during this period from Aug/2012 to July/2013. The financial support will offer a secure milieu to expand the activities of the FAP-Unifesp Publishing House, maintaining and improving the quality of the published books. Regarding research, the projects asks funds to equip an office that could help researchers to design and analyze studies and to administrate their grants. This is an urgent need in a University recognized by the quality of its scientific production. Finally, regarding teaching, this project encompasses also funding for acquisition of equipment to prepare learning material for distance education, in order to reach larger audiences and/ improve learning experiences.
