Abstract

The UNESP's Center of Documentation and Memory - CEDEM - was created in 1987. Therefore, for 25 years has been fulfilling its goal of supporting social research, being responsible for custody of documentary collections with historic value related with Brazilian's politic and social movements history. CEDEM approved the project Memory of Brazilian's Contemporary Politic Organizations and Social Movements: Scan and news conditions to improve access to CEDEM's collection - UNESP's Center of Documentation and Memory (Procedure 2009/54954-0) in the Program of Support to Research Infrastructure - Fapesp's Information Depositaries, Documents and/or Biological Collection. The activities in this project, and the results obtained, had the function of: implementing the selective scan of the historic valuable collection beneath the guard of CEDEM; acquiring equipment that will make possible to CEDEM's team, from now on, to proceed, in a systematic way and with resources of its own, the activities started with the mentioned help from FAPESP and, finally, turning the documentary sets in its collection available, expanding the possibilities of inquiry. Therefore, the Action Plan, now suggested, to the utilization of Technical Reserve resources, it's another complementation of the developed project. It is required the acquisition of computer equipment and archive's specific material to the packaging of the scanned originals. (AU)
