Abstract

Learning from data streams is a research area of increasing importance. Nowadays, several stream learning algorithms have been developed. All of them learn decision models that continuously evolve over time, run in resource-aware environments, detect and react to changes in the environment generating data. In this project we will focus on the research associated with the application of data stream mining techniques to real-world problems. A large part of the project will be associated with a co-supervision of a PhD student at ICMC-USP. At least one seminar and one short course will be presented during the stay. (AU)
