Abstract

Prof. Ciesielski is full professor of the Department of Mathematics at West Virginia University (Morgantown, WV, USA). He has collaborated with us in various research works, and will be attending an event in São Carlos-SP during 3-6 June 2013. Considering this opportunity and our ongoing works with Prof. Ciesielski, we would like to solicit funds, so that at the end of the event, he can stay a little longer and visit Unicamp and IME-USP, in 6-11 June, to present seminars about the "Minimum Barrier Distance Transform" and to discuss new papers.
