Abstract

This project begins of an exploratory research, in which we evaluated the state of the art in relation to the concepts of fact and mediatic event, to reach a specific object, João da Filmadora, an informal communicator, that changes the popular narratives of Campina do Monte Alegre in news to the mainstream media. Will be evaluated from these narratives, the role of the narrator contemporary, João da Filmadora, supported by digital media (especially the internet and mobile), in comparison with the traditional narrator by Walter Benjamin. In the narrative, beyond the concepts of fact and mediatic event, the elements of the absurd, the poetic, the mythic and historical are used in the creation of a typological and analytical framework.
