Abstract
It is a selection of essays about the process of formation and training of the, artist that moves between theater and performance art. It questions the notion of training as a mere acquisition of skills to the spectacle. It reflects on artists strategies that include modifications of existential habits, states of body-mind and relational dynamics as a way of triggering creative processes. Finally, it investigates the possible dialogue between performing arts and other cultural traditions that propose transformations of the self, which includes Philosophy of antiquity, Buddhism, etc. (AU)
