Abstract

It is intended to understand how the educational reforms for the medium level teaching, expressed in the parameters of the national curriculum and in the guidelines of the national curriculum for the medium level teaching, are summed up in the state public schools of São Paulo. Our problem to be investigated can be presented in the following way: Do the schools from São Paulo of medium level teaching sum up the proposals contained in PCNEM as knowledge concepts, pedagogy of the competences and of learning to learn and the quality education? If they make it, how such subjects come in the daily of the educational work developed in the school institution? Our objectives are to verify the present orientations in DCN and in PCN for the medium teaching are responsible for modifications in the organization and materialization of the educational work; if such recommendations have been implying in modifications in the teaching plans, in the evaluation procedures, in the class newspapers and in the organization of the classes; as such recommendations are expressed in the encounters of HTPC between teachers and pedagogic coordinators and; as such recommendations are materialized in the pedagogic political project of the school institution.
