Abstract

The transformations in the structures demographic and epidemiological patterns of mortality have been promoting the need for new perspectives of organization of health systems. With the increasing prevalence of chronic conditions changes were noted in relation to the demands and health needs of the population requiring urgent search for solutions. Thus, the problems related to system integration and coordination of care have been receiving attention in the reform of health systems, especially in the role of Primary Health Care (PHC). It is considered that health systems organized in Health Care Networks (SAN) and coordinated by APS may contribute to improved clinical quality in health outcomes, satisfaction of users (by improving access and solvability), and reduce the costs of local health systems. Thus the purpose of this research is to validate a scale to assess the coordination of networks of health care by primary care. To carry out a full validation of the instrument, two types of validation are considered: content and construct. The reference population is made up of health professionals working in teams of the Family Health Strategy, in the micro-Alfenas MG. The analysis will be done through the Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analyses. Internal consistency is assessed by Cronbach's alpha. The validation of this scale can bring a cartography of the dilemmas faced by APS to be a structural axis system capable of coordinating the RAS, through solid or sufficiently valid instrument for decision making of managers and workers, and strengthen the debate on this subject in the scenario of public health policies, particularly at the municipal level.
