Abstract

Varda's Cinensos: the documentary as a writing beyond itself is a research on Agnes Varda documental production, which bends over her films, converting them into an object of study, in the sense of perceiving which are the stylistic procedures that the producer gives up in the construction of her narratives. Her work with imagens started with the photography. She began her work in cinema in the context of Nouvelle Vague and the exclusion of new paradigms such as the transparency of the act of narrating, the explicitness of the view point and the direct interference of the producer herself. Her self-referenced narratives, incorporate perform, reflexive, poetical, self-biographic characteristics contextures, in a first moment, within the universe of the modem post-war documentary and come affirming their importance up to today moments.
