AbstractThis research project aims to produce a videographic documentary about the underground of Av. Paulista, in the city of São Paulo. It will discuss diferent aspects of an important urbanistic piece, interrumpted in 1971. An underground way with extension of 3 km, em 2 levels, a work that was in many of its parts executed and, by political reasons, left on the underground city in a huge "hidden giant", with 23 galleries.Beyond the documentary, the research analyses authors on the field of communication and political phylosophy, seeking to deepen topics such as invisibility, exclusion, cinicism, testimony as void, and what the underground represents as a metaphor of past unsolved questions. The main authors on the theoric grid are Peter Sloterdijk (1993, 2000), Giorgio Agamben (2006, 2009), Slavoj Zizek (2003, 2010), Christine Greiner and Helena Katz (2005, 2010) and Lakoff and Johnson (1980, 1999, 2002). The metodology includes, beside the theoretical research, a videographic research that discusses the creation of a new kind of text, a new audiovisual writing, that internalizes in its production the nature of the research to be documented, that is, the underground histories that never end, even when burried and banished to invisibility.
