Abstract

The visitant professor will give lectures and also participate in seminars from the post graduation in Dental Sciences Program, focused on Pediatric Dentistry. The topic discussed will be the experience of developing the PhD course in a foreign University, as well as the option of working abroad as a researcher. She is also going to discuss ongoing researches in collaboration with USP and futures researches ideas. The post graduation students are going to participate in these discussion and are also going to present their own researches to the professor, who is going to make suggestions. The visitant professor is going to visit the municipality of Barueri, where a research in collaboration of Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade de São Paulo - FOUSP e Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam - ACTA is taking place. Professor Bonifácio is co-supervisor of this research.Another project to be designed during this visit, is a Systematic Review comparing the Atraumatic Restorative Treatment with Conventional Restorations in paediatric dentistry.The partnership with ACTA was established a few years ago, culminating in some scientific publications:*Bonifacio et al., 2009 Physical-mechanical properties of glass ionomer cements indicated for atraumatic restorative treatment.
