Abstract

ITA as an institution strongly dedicated to research needs a secure communication infrastructure and a controlled access to the services offered by ITA to the technical-cientific internal community. Under the present conditions it is necessary to implement a physical security system to control the access to the room of network management as well as the logical security to authenticate the users of the services offered by ITA. The proposed project implements the necessary functionalities to improve the security at the physical and logical level of ITA's Data Communication Network. (AU)
