Abstract

The purpose of this Annual Implementation Plan (EAP) is to present projects that will continue the technological evolution of UFSCar's computer networks (UFSCarnet) along with the connectivity to ANSP. The objective is to provide network resources required to meet the most diverse applications demanded by UFSCar community in terms of teaching and research. In 2012 (applied in 2013) equipment were purchased to enhance the connectivity of the Internet UFSCAR campuses, at high speed, enabling all network distribution centers to work with the maximum speed of the links provided by RNP. In this year 2013 (to be applied in 2014), this plan aims to meet the goal of providing the appropriate educational and research environment through the purchase of security networking equipment, as well as provide passage of fiber optic infrastructure for redundancy between the centers of distribution of 3 campuses UFSCAR (Sao Carlos, Sorocaba and Araras).
