Abstract

Mackenzie Presbyterian University (UPM) has consolidated its participation in the Brazilian computer networks through RNP and ANSP networks due to its participation in important connectivity projects, such as GIGA Project and Kyatera Network. Because of the necessity of high speed connectivity between several labs and research centers at Higienópolis Campus, and because the evolution of the communication speed and the increase of quality data between institutions from inside and outside of Brazil, and also because there is a possibility to connect UPM with a 40Gpbs backbone in the city of São Paulo, this plan presents the usage of overhead for ANSP Academic Network Connectivity. This document also describes the activities and resources required to carry out this plan. (AU)
