Abstract

The main objective of the researcher's visit is, taking into account her research experiences regarding borders, sex work and sex trafficking in the US/Mexican border and as lecturer and member of diverse European research programmes, to collaborate in the discussions of research groups of the Center for Gender Studies APGU/Unicamp, as well as with other research grupos in the São Paulo State that carry studies connected with borders, the frontiers between legal and illegal practices, sex work and the relationships between gender, sexualities and subjectivities. These contributions will be enlarged by the outcomes of the research conducted by the visitant in Brazil, part of a broader comparative study: A critical examination of current anti-trafficking training programmes in Brazil and Mexico.
