Abstract
The Brazilian sugarcane sector is one of the pioneers with respect to the use of large-scale bioenergy , which includes the use of bagasse as fuel for electricity generation and ethanol production . The harvest planning problems and aggregate production planning involved in sucroenergéticas plants are complex and have marked characteristic involvement of multiple objectives that the decision maker wishes to optimize , some conflicting with each other , and they often suffer influences of the uncertainties involved . These uncertainties may be associated with variations in demand , climate conditions and economic policies , among other causes . This paper aims to develop models for multi-objective optimization under uncertainty to treat uncertainties that influence the parameters used in the decision process of sucroenergéticas plants . These models will be applied in cases reais.O research goal is to provide insight to decision making on a scientific basis. (AU)
