Abstract

From a combination of efforts in the PIPE project 2011/50736-1 Phase 1, and the results autonomous ALTAVE reached a level of maturity in his captive airship project with multiple applications. Thus, with partial results of this research project, commercial applications of the technology are already visible, allowing for quick entry into the market, which justifies the investment of industrial and commercial development of the solution. The items considered in the above project are part of an aerostatic systems for applications such as cameras monitorament, aerial filming events for TV and telecommunications in remote areas (National Broadband Plan). The solutions have common point captive airships, consisting of the anchor, anchor line, suspended structure, and airship payload. The current maturity of the project allows to promote the market entry solutions based on airships up to 60 cubic meters and operating at altitudes of up to 300 meters. This project has aimed to reach the final production version of aerostatic systems mentioned using the EASA/CS31TGB compliance with the standard as a guideline for the overhaul project finally getting the type certificate issued by the Institute of Industrial Coordination and fostering - IFI. ALTAVE already obtained approval for implementation of the certification plan IFI, which will be held in partnership through the bond of ALTAVE with IncubAero and DCTA. For that happen, it will be required structural tests and improvement of safety items as part electric winch system, night lighting, a quick deflation device, and ways to measure the internal pressure and tension in the cable. Finally, secondary suppliers will be evaluated, as a possibility of replacing some components from domestic market, keen a similar cost reduction. It is understood that, for implementation of those techniques, the most critical activities and the largest investment project will be in Human Resources by providing an adequate training to engineers, technicians and operators, with administrative support, logistics and management. Also be availed post-scholarship RHAE / CNPq which absorbed large amount of expertise in the design and technology of lighter than air, previoulsly. (AU)
