Abstract

Nowadays the Hemocentro Foundation of Ribeirão Preto has a mixed network environment in a simple setting, without wide availability and consolidation for the servers of infrastructure, collaboration, as well as for other databank systems, fundamental to the development of the activities. Moreover, all its infrastructure of servers does not meet the growing demand of requirements for Employees, Researchers, Professors, and Students, and then a new solution is needed to assure data capacity and availability. Therefore this project aims to invest in Hardware and Software solutions to fulfill the needs mentioned before. Virtualization and Cluster for wide availability of physical and virtual servers will be implemented. With the purpose of improving technologies and support, we will install a service of Identity and Access, improvement in file server, using a new architecture with all the files indexed, consolidated patch distribution system, optimizing the use of the Internet link and improving the net services (DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc.). All these services will be guaranteed by the solution of wide availability implemented, and also by the backup system of all information. (AU)
