Abstract

The QTOF mass spectrometer is a device that can be used in various research areas and serves researchers in different fields such as: Chemical, Biological, Physical, Engineering and Medical. Thus it can be used by several researchers working in research in proteins (proteomics analysis for example). Can also be used in research involving polymers. In environmental analysis by determination of structures of pollutants compound or compounds from treatments such as the biodegradation of pollutants. The equipment can also be used in medical research such as metabolome area. Besides the mentioned, there are several other techniques in which a mass spectrometer can be used. (AU)
