Abstract

On this Project will be presented the necessity for intellectual property protection, operational and administrative information of CNPEM to ensure safety and functional contigency for the Site.Due to the rapidly and continuous growth of CNPEM in recent years, several expansions in IT infrastructure occurred at an accelerated rate. these expansions have increased the capabilities and technological dimensions of the services provided to the scientific, technical and administrative areas by IT team. To ensure the protection of data generated in the institution, we need to acquire a Backup System and store it in a safe location to ensure that if an information loss from the production environment occurs we can restore the information from the Backup System.This system must protect all the information generated and stored in CNPEM's Datacenter, including intellectual property of researchers and the servers that provide local infrastructure to connect with ANSP (Academic Network at São Paulo).
