Abstract

The Visiting Professor will work on a project approved by FAPESP which involves the study of energy supplementation of beef and dairy cattle grazing tropical pasture on metabolic parameters, ingestive behavior, ruminal fermentation, animal performance, milk composition, consumption, etc. In addition, the Visiting Researcher will teach a workshop on LRNS (Large Ruminant Nutrition System) and a course on modeling applied to ruminant nutrition titled "Introduction to System Dynamics for Animal Production".
