Abstract

Oxidation and reduction reactions of organic compounds are widely applied in organic chemistry. Usually, they can be used for different synthetic purposes as well as in the degradation of pollutants. In this project we decided to develop biocatalytic systems for application in different molecular targets, such as boron compounds, nitrogen and lignin-like compounds. Furthermore, enzymatic purification and biochemical characterization of oxidoreductase from Arthrobacter will be studied. (AU)
