Agronomical evaluation of grape varieties destinated to elaboration of white wines grafted in two regions of São Paulo State

Abstract

The project aims to evaluate the agronomic performance of five varieties of wine white grapes, grafted onto two rootstocks, in the eastern and northwestern regions of the state of São Paulo. The experiments are located in the experimental area of Centro de Frutas/IAC in Jundiaí and and the Centro de Seringueira e Sistemas Agroflorestais in Votuporanga/SP. Treatments will consist of a combination of varieties 'SR 0501-17', 'Moscato Embrapa', 'Moscatel de Jundiaí', 'BRS Lorena' and 'Madalena' grafted onto rootstocks IAC 766 'Campinas' and IAC 572 'Jales'. The experimental design is a randomized block with five replicates. Will be assessed the initial development of plants in Jundiaí. Will be evaluated on a cycle in Jundiaí and two cycles Votuporanga in each experimental area for each variety these variables: plant productivity in kg-1, fresh weight of branches, number of bunches per plant, phenological stages, physical characteristics of clusters and berries and chemical characteristics of each wine grape variety grafted on two rootstocks. Microvinification of the varieties in a cycle will take place, as well as chemical and sensory analysis of wine. With the data obtained in each region, analyzes of individual variances for each variety by region and the differences between the means of treatments will be checked by Tukey test at 5% probability will be held.
