Abstract
Below is a brief description of Professor Debra Skene's planned activities in this mobility: - Discussing and detailing the field study design for the Amazon study with definition of the number of subjects, questionnaire data, and objective data collection and the planned methodologies to be used. - Discussion and analysis of the results from the pilot study with detailed information about the rubber tappers' diet and eating patterns. - Writing grant applications for funding for analysis of the biological samples. - Teaching in the International School of Chronobiology and Working Life, a regular course of the Graduate Program in Public Health in which English is spoken. - Definition of participation of our Graduate students in the proposed project. - Discussion regards future research collaboration including the exchange of students from USP to the University of Surrey.
