Abstract

Dr Klaus Rischka has a scientific collaboration in new adhesives by biomimetic and/or sol-gel approach for three years. This collaboration has included scientific training stages of PhD students by BEPE/FAPESP and PROBRAL I/CAPES international collaboration. As a result of this collaboration one paper has been published at RSC Advances and a request of patent deposition is under analysis by the Innovation Agency of USP. Aiming to continue this collaboration, Dr. Klaus is intending to stay 15 days at IQSC-USP. During this period he is going to present lectures for the Graduate Students at IQSC, as well as discuss results of the scientific experiments by one of our PhD students, Taína Z. Fermino, which is doing her sandwich thesis at IFAM-Bremen with Dr Klaus. Furthermore, it will be performed joint experiments and preliminary data analysis with Mateus Simões and Elias P. Ferreira Neto, both PhD students, and MSC student Marília V. Salvador. These experiments are relevant to their thesis projects. (AU)
