Abstract

This project aims at studying Opinion Dynamics models, with an interest in both applications to real cases as well as from a purely theoretical point of view. Most of the models that we will use will be extensions of the CODA model. Consequences of interest to Statistical Mechanics problems will be studied. We will also compare the movement of opinion particles to the movements of elementary particles. Finally, the project will also lead to the first steps of establishing a simulation laboratory for Opinion Dynamics problems. (AU)
