Abstract

This research will address a participatory methodology for the prototypes production planning of building components - closings, pillars and connections, aiming to develop its supply chain and its usefulness and relevance to civil and rural construction. The prototype building components will use as main raw material bamboo associated with land and wastes. Once ready, the components will be used to build a structure that could be used as an office, storeroom or a small house. To make up the components and the structure the actions will be held, seeking to link the designer and the user in participatory activities such as courses and workshops, and the end can bring benefits when added to the initial planning process of production and future research projects. During fabrication data will be collected to enable systematic classification of the production chain in relation to the designed prototypes. Once the structure produced have been finished, the prototypes will have their general physical aspects such as color and shape compared and analyzed, considering the above, and after being exposed to weathering, setting a predetermined time for this.
