Abstract

Brazil has a large hearing aid donation program through 139 centers accredited by the National Health System (SUS). Telemedicine can be worthwhile in improving public policies of hearing health related by allowing the hearing-impaired to get therapy in health facilities next to their dwellings. Objective measurements (real-ear insertion gain) and subjective (evaluation questionnaire) performed face-to-face and remotely allow the measurement of hearing aids fittings to drive health managers to pursue continuous improvement of public policies.
