Abstract
Cosmology and astrophysics provide several convincing evidences of the existence of dark matter (DM). However, we have very little knowledge about what DM is made of and how it interacts with particles in the Standard Model. The AMS-02 experiment will help to improve our current understanding in the field. The AMS-02 Collaboration, lead by Nobel laureate Prof. S. C. Ting, has build a magnetic spectrometer that is installed aboard the International Space Station since 2011. Given its large acceptance, together with excellent background rejection and energy resolution, precision measurements of positrons and electrons have been achieved, and precise measurements of other particles, such as antiprotons, are in progress. The main goal of the present project is to strengthen the synergy between CNRS scientist working in Annecy (at LAPP and LAPTh), and the members of the AMS group of IFSC, by means of regular exchanges. The goal of the exchange is to prepare one paper about the antiproton-to-proton flux ratio, in the frame of the AMS-02 Collaboration, and two papers on the interpretation of positrons and antiprotons results in terms of dark matter annihilation.
