Abstract

In this project we will develop four prototypes of large-area detector instruments, two with a 12-chip screen (detector head with one 6x2-chip detector module) and two with a 36-chip screen (combining three modules in the detector head). We will conduct thermal, reliability and radiation analyses, design the equipment thermal and humidity control system, design, manufacture and assemble the electronic circuit boards, manufacture the devices and hardware for thermal stabilization and packaging of the instrument, integrate it, and proceed to functional and environmental tests.
