Abstract

1. Four research seminars dedicated to the following discussions related to the Project "The Medieval Mediterranean reconsidered (4th-15th centuries)": - Presentation of the Project "The Medieval Mediterranean reconsidered (4th-15th centuries)" and its subprojects. - Report on the multidisciplinary research activities regarding the Mediterranean coordinated by Christiane Veauvy and Henri Bresc between 1993 and 2008. - Report on the multidisciplinary approaches to the Mediterranean from Fernand Braudel to the 2010s. - New research instruments and perspectives for the study of the Mediterranean. - The contribution of Medieval History to the discussion of topics concerned to the Mediterranean history: main problems and perspectives. 2. Public lecture "Readings on the Mediterranean: Medieval and Modern Continuities and ruptures in the social and political spheres (practices, representations, and research approaches)". 3. 15-credit course entitled "Pathways in/with Feminisms in the Mediterranean". This course is of interest both to two lines of research from the Graduate Program in History of Unicamp and to researches carried out within Pagu ("Núcleo de Estudos de Gênero"), also from Unicamp. 4. Public lecture in the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) entitled "Itinerary of Françoise Collin in her arrival in Paris (1981), in French culture and beyond (Francophone world, Mediterranean world)". 5. Public lecture in the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) entitled "Readings on the Mediterranean: Medieval and Modern. Continuities and ruptures in the social and political spheres (practices, representations, and research approaches)". (AU)
