Abstract

This proposal aims to evaluate the tolerance and phytoremediation potential of some leguminous trees (Inga fagilofia, Inga uruguensis and Lonchocarpus muehlbergianus) in soil conditions contaminated by heavy metal lead (Pb). The proposed approach uses characterization of maximum tolerated doses per plant, cellular localization element and subsequent combination of the use of a tolerant plant followed by the cultivation of the species characterized as more sensitive to Pb. The final proposal is to view the revegetation of areas impacted with Pb. (AU)
